FAQs
The Coffee & Roasting Process
How fresh is the coffee? Extreme freshness is our standard. We operate on a Roast-to-Order model. Your coffee sits in a roasting queue until after you checkout. It is small-batch roasted, degassed, and shipped immediately. You will never receive a bag that has been sitting on a shelf for months.
Are your flavored coffees chemically treated? No. We use high-quality, artisan flavor infusions applied to Specialty Grade beans. We do not use cheap sprays or oily coatings that clog your grinder. You get the smooth, natural essence of the flavor without the chemical aftertaste.
What kind of beans do you use? We strictly feature Specialty Grade beans (the top tier of coffee quality) for our entire collection. Whether you order a Single Origin roast or a Flavored Blend, you are drinking the best beans available on the market.
Do you sell Single Serve Pods? Yes. We sell Single Serve Cups (Pods) that are compatible with nearly all standard single-serve brewers. Unlike standard plastic cups, our pods are 100% Recyclable. They offer a richer extraction and are better for the planet.
Shipping & Orders
Why hasn't my coffee shipped yet? Because we roast to order, we need time to make it. Please allow 1-5 business days for roasting and packaging. Good coffee takes time, and we refuse to rush the process.
Can I change my order? You have a 1-hour window to change or cancel your order after placing it. After that hour, your order is locked into the roasting queue and cannot be stopped. Please check your grind type carefully!
My tea arrived but my coffee didn't. What happened? We use a dual-track shipping system. Our teas ship directly from our heritage partner (Harney & Sons), while our coffee ships from our roastery. They often arrive in separate packages. Check your email for individual tracking numbers.
Equipment & Grinds
Which grind should I choose?
-
Whole Bean: Best for peak freshness. Grind it yourself right before brewing.
-
Standard Ground (Drip): Perfect for standard coffee makers and pour-overs.
-
Coarse (French Press): Ideal for French Press or Cold Brew immersion.
-
Espresso: Fine grind for espresso machines.
Can I return my coffee if I ordered the wrong grind? For food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on coffee. Please double-check your selection before checkout. If we made a mistake and sent you the wrong one, we will replace it for free.
